I Think I Lost Her Again

I Think I Lost Her Again
070711

I emptied my bag to fit a life for two
And waited to make this dream come true
A wait that seems futile
you're like a lost letter in the world's postal

How I tried to search for thee
All that was left was your scent and my memory
As the sun rises and my hope lost
As you'll be forever a dream I can't hold

And I found out what I did wrong
For you've seen me as someone who is cold
At least you noticed me for a while
But I can't read between the lines

without you in my eyes
my world is blurred
taking you off
and keeeping you beside me
makes me walk confidently

New Poem: raking leaves

raking leaves

she does it every rain-day
playing with rain
in the garden
magically
raking leaves
with her soaking long dress

New Poem: She found me in the thinning of my days

She found me in the thinning of my days
010807

She found me in the thinning of my days
Cared for my bandaged heart
Surprises me not
fearing to hear my last laugh

She held me in the creeping of the dark
Shining my thick eyeglasses light
Never leaving our bed as we read
fearing to miss my last smile

She had me again in the dying of my fire
when hands, tongue and talks suffice
Laying her head on my loosely muscled arms
As we wait for the dawn to come

I lost her one morning in a false joy of the day
I bandaged again my heart too late
On the carpeted floor we lay
Her hand was already cold, as my warmth dissipates.
