Guiting Guiting
last night we had our last preclimb meeting for guiting guiting...went to montanara cubao...ulz, toto, joy, arvin, jake, and ma'am jen..pati si dong sierra dumating...well napadaan lang actually. tapos sumunod din si jonathan with his wife sakto pagtapos ng meeting namin..here is out itenerary...
Well i think the Boracay trip after the climb lost the voting this time...of those who attended we decided Puerto Gallera and climb the mountain there...
But thats not important for now...but to focus the mind to this big one..G2...cu soon...

Day 1 - Marchl 19, 2005 Saturday
04:00p – Assembly at Pier 8
05:00p – ETD Pier 8 (M/V Mary The Queen – 13 Hours from Pier 8 to Cajidiocan,
Sibuyan Romblon)
Day 2 - March 20, 2005 Sunday
06:00a – ETA Sibuyan Cadijiocan Port
06:30a – Breakfast; go to town proper from pier via tricycle and have a courtesy call to
the Mayor of Magdiwang.
07:30a – Go to the Protected Area Office for registration, headed by Mang Domeng and
then to Manong Lee’s house for arrangements of guides.
08:30a – Food preparation for lunch and pack dinner.
10:00a – Early lunch
12:00p – Start Trekking
07:00p – Mayo’s Peak (Set Camp) Eat pack dinner
09:00p – Lights out
Day 3 – March 21, 2005 Monday
06:00a – Breakfast and preparations for summit assault. Bring with you some snacks,
packed lunch, water (for a day's consumption) headlamps and rain protection
gears. Remember the lighter the easier for you to climb on rock formations
along the cliffs.
12:00p – Lunch on trail
01:00p – ETA summit. (If you are not able to reach summit by 1:00, abort the assault so
that you will not be caught off by night on the dangerous trail. Never drink on
pitcher plants!)
01:15p – ETD summit.
05:00p – ETA Mayo’s Peak Campsite,
Option 1: Prepare for descending
Option2 : Stay for another night
Day 5 – March 22, 2005 Tuesday
06:00a – Breakfast
07:00a – Breakcamp
07:30a – ETD Campsite
12:00p – PASU Office
Day 6 – March 23, 2005 Wenesday
Option 1: Stay Another day in subuyan (Side Tripping)
Option 2: Going home straight
06:00a – Breakfast, preparation going back to Manila
06:40a – ETD Magdiwang Port, Sibuyan Romblon
08:00p – ETA Batangas Pier
11:00p – ETA Manila
Note: (not really sure if there’s a trip bound for batangas pier on this date)
Option 3: Island Hopping
Magdiwang to Romblon (banka) 2 hrs
Romblon to Pier (banka) 1 ½ hrs
Pier to Odiongan (bus) 3hrs
Odiongan to Batangas (roro) 9 hrs
