Manny's Garden
Looong sleep and well rested. Start trek at 8AM. Reached Dulang-dulang summit around 11AM. After some picture taking we descend. The rope Sir Mark brouhgt was used now beacuse of the steep trails. The rain fell, and were around two thousand meters now which makes things worst. We were all cold and tired when the guide decided to make an emergency camp along the trail. We could not find the crash site where there is another watersource. I was drinking brandy because of cold. And guess what i emptied my 8oz container. We stopped at 4:30 PM. I was f***ing cold in rage because first time in my life I heard the words from your guide "Di ko na kaya, giniginaw na ko". Lesson learned: Thoguh guides were indeed human, and they are adept in the environment they're guiding us, their faculties can be shaky too sometimes. They were searching for a better campsite when I decided to take off my shirt done my plastic poncho and make the tarp. Shaking in cold Jay, Arnold and Mike return and we've decided to pitch our tents there in the middle of the trail. Which is good for two tents. Under the rain we prepared our tent but the water seeped inside my tent. Though doesn't matter believe me it was heaven when I changed my clothes. And had my insulation as matress with my old sleeping bag. Ate some Oreo, cheeze and raisins for dinner. Jad had his jolly biscuits and Sir Mike brought him some rice and fried Bangus! Yum Yum! At 7 we're all snoring.
