Kairukan Falls, Morong, Bataan
121005 Saturday
To Kairukan Morong Rizal.
I didnt drink the day before that thinking that I should change the habit of drinking before a climb. The result I woke at Sir Dong and Sir Mikee's Call...Missed call Count: 6. It was 6AM..because all my stuff were good to go...just changed and off I go...decided with Sir Mike that we will meet their bus at North Luzon Express way. I was already in NLEX at 7AM. Met Sir Dong 7:15 at A.Bonifacio and around 730AM the bus arrived. I love well met time. Lost my time...so the following attempt to track time is inaccurate...around 12NN were in the Aeta Baranggay after crossing the bridge and 45 Min walk from our bus. The gifts and foods were prepared by the pagcor group...and the guest climbers prepared for the kairukan falls...
The Falls
3 hour walk we arrived and bathe...20 min later...rain fell...return drenched in rain...watered shoes, swimming feet...sir mike dispatches people who will meet us with lights in palayan...we have to move to the Elementary School...prepare our dinner there...set the tent for the guest climbers which are mostly ladies...sir mike give his tent too...dong and I had some spanish sardines with onions and noodles...and sinigang na baboy and spag by sir mike...after a couple of sticks we brought our 2 bottles of gin and move to the other classroom for the socials...had a great night there...
L-R Toteng, Orly, Tintin, Sid, Lindon, (back) Toto, Alex, Mikee, Me, Bong, Dong
Sir benjie's group left around 4AM...at the morn...had some crab and corn with egg...hot choco by dong...a young aeta girl sang to us...i was struck by this small voice that can pierce a stone heart...
