Fear of drowning
10/03/06 1145PM
Oh it’s been a year now
Since you left the door open
In rain
That I got the worst cold in my life
The coldest body I had
Still I'm here writing about that hour
When the night and morning waited for something to end or to begin
When you decided to end us and start your beginning
Leaving me
Cursing this beginning that won’t end
It took only a little faith
And concentration
To see you in front now
In tears, and packing
And even kissing me goodbye
As I am sleeping then
That faith made me throw the gun in the pool
Our pool. My pool now.
I laughed
'cause it’s a good thing
That how ever hard you tried
I never learned to dive
Nor swim
Only that
Is what keeping me alive
Oh it’s been a year now
Since you left the door open
In rain
That I got the worst cold in my life
The coldest body I had
Still I'm here writing about that hour
When the night and morning waited for something to end or to begin
When you decided to end us and start your beginning
Leaving me
Cursing this beginning that won’t end
It took only a little faith
And concentration
To see you in front now
In tears, and packing
And even kissing me goodbye
As I am sleeping then
That faith made me throw the gun in the pool
Our pool. My pool now.
I laughed
'cause it’s a good thing
That how ever hard you tried
I never learned to dive
Nor swim
Only that
Is what keeping me alive
